Hotels Dhaka : Need A 5 Star Hotel in Bangladesh?

Bangladesh have regular visitors, our Principals and Buyers from U.S., U.K., Canada, E.U. countries, Japan, China, Korea, Singapore, India and Pakistan etc. We would lodge them as per their preferences, if they ask for help. No major incidences or accident reported during such visits (God forbid), though Dhaka is too crowded in Western standard and travelling alone at odd hours are a bit risky.
If you are determined to stay in a 5-Star Hotel then I would strongly recommend The Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel since this has more relaxed settings, high ceilings, friendly staffs and better communication facilities than the other two good 5-Star Hotels viz. Dhaka Sheraton and Radisson Water Garden.

PS. Guest Houses are good for visitors who have travelled in this region before and know about our cultures and people. For U.S. female citizen coming here for the first time and willing to pay money for the 5-Star Hotel is advised to stay away from Guest Houses though the services and amenities of these GH are no less than any 4-Star Hotels.
Best Hotels in Dhaka are Sheraton International, Sonargaon, Radisson ( near Airport). There are many good rest houses and hotels near Banani and Gulshan area which are cheap but very clean and comfortable.
